How to get to Liwliwa, Zambales from Manila – Cubao

A step-by-step commute guide by bus and tricycle to your next beach getaway!

Step 1: Go to bus terminal in Cubao

Head to Victory Liner Cubao Terminal. This is the main bus line going to Zambales.

Step 2: Ride a bus going to: Iba, Zambales or Sta. Cruz, Zambales

Make sure it passes San Felipe and tell the conductor – “Baba po ako sa San Felipe (Liwliwa)”.

  • Travel time: 3-5hrs depending on the traffic.
  • Fare: ₱300–₱600 (depends on bus type)
  • You may view bus schedules at the Victory Liner site.

Step 3: Get off at San Felipe

The drop-off point should be at the 7/11 of San Felipe in front of the San Felipe Public Market.

Some Notes

  • If you need to withdraw cash, you may at 7/11’s ATM. It’s not advisable to use the Landbank ATM beside the Police Station as sometimes it bugs out.
  • You can buy fresh food, water, liquor and other stuff at the market or 7/11 before going to Liwliwa.

Step 4: Ride a tricycle to Liwliwa

From San Felipe, beside 7/11 is a tricycle station. Take a trike to Liwliwa beach and mention the resort where you are booked. Take note that there are also other beaches within San Felipe aside from Liwliwa, namely, El Zamba and Coastal. Make sure that you know where your resort is located. It’s best to look at Google Maps and show it to the tricycle driver because some resorts are named almost alike.
